Golfing Tours in Berwick Upon Tweed

This town is so special that it has changed hands between England and Scotland thirteen times! It’s now in England as our countries most Northerly town and England is much improved by its now gently but firm character. Situated on the north bank of the famous Salmon River Tweed this town is still cuddled by the complete and fearsome walls erected under the instructions of Queen Elizabeth the first. All modern amenities happily co exist with ancient good manners and customs, generating a warmth in its welcome that generates complete relaxation for the visitor wishing to experience both the Thistle and the Rose. (Scotland and England).
The Hotels.
The Castle Hotel.

Situated by the mainline railway station at the North end of the town, within strolling distance from its centre, The Castle Inn Hotel is renowned for the warmth of its welcome. The resident owners Tom and Linda Owen anticipate the ingredients for a successful golf break and then fulfil every expectation. This is a great favourite of Golfing societies whose comments on the food and comfort are most flattering.
